Fun Facts About Guinea Pigs

  • Guinea pigs are herbivores and love fresh veggies like bell peppers and leafy greens.
  • They communicate with squeaks, purrs, and whistles – each sound means something different!
  • They need Vitamin C daily because they can’t produce it themselves.
  • Average lifespan: 5–7 years.
  • They’re social animals and thrive in groups – just like our little herd!

Why We Love Them

Our guinea pigs are not just pets; they’re part of the farm family. They teach us about care, compassion, and the joy of rescue. Watching them popcorn (jump with excitement) is the best part of our day!

Care Tips

  • Fresh hay daily for healthy teeth and digestion.
  • Clean water and a balanced diet of pellets and veggies.
  • Regular grooming for long-haired breeds.
  • Plenty of space and hideouts for comfort.
