I really like our community visits. Enrichment is really good especially on a Friday afternoon, going to see the chickens at the farm every week and making friends are also my favourites.
The school’s wonderful environment combined with high quality learning and our individualised curriculum goes a very long way to supporting the wellbeing of our pupils and helping them develop in the best possible ways.
A comprehensive approach to Personal, Social and Health education and Sex Relationship education goes beyond academic study and prepares our young people for the opportunities and challenges that may lie ahead.
We welcome visits from pupils and parents/carers who are being considered for a transition to Coombe House School. Please contact your Provision Lead at Dorset County who can arrange this for you.
Once a place has been agreed at Coombe House School, we will work with pupils, parents/carers and other professionals to create a personalised transition plan so that we can maintain continuity of learning and care and to introduce the new pupil to our school.
Pupils feel valued and know that they are appreciated and belong… They enjoy learning and take pride in their work.
